Job Description

Perform process analysis, waste identification and use LEAN methodology to drive continuous improvement in Huizhou Factory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with departments to identify new process improvement opportunities in the areas of quality, cost and performance
  • Evaluate and analyze current process metrics (yield, cycle time, defects, material flow, etc.) and performance to identify areas requiring improvement
  • Analyze and identify opportunities to reduce process variation, improve process capabilities and optimize process performance (KAIZEN)
  • Work with PE to create and analyze manufacturing process and cycle time of new product
  • Develop process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and productivity
  • Facilitate the deployment of new and changed processes to provide improved results
  • Drive improvement in manufacturing efficiency by utilizing continuous improvement tools and techniques. Cycle time analysis, Line balancing, Line efficiency calculation and OEE calculation
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Tools and methodology throughout the manufacturing process and facility
  • Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of matrices and best practices
  • Work with Quality, Production Engineering, Production & R&D to deliver a robust and cost-effective end to end process
  • Work together with design team to develop DFM
  • Identify and implement new technologies & Automation, specification of requirements, CAPEX justification, planning and implementation

Job Requirements

  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing methodology(GEMBA) and minimum a Green Belt
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/production environment in the area of LEAN, process engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • A degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline is highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies and systems planning
  • Cross-functional business team environment experience is preferred
  • Proven ability to self-manage and deliver on time to budget
  • Excellent inter-personal skills to build relationship internally and externally
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Proficient in CAD (line layout tools)
  • Good at reporting deliverables of projects
  • Return of investment(ROI)Calculation
  • Good communication and presentation skills in written English, at least CET-4
  • Good spoken English will be preferable
