Summary
OSM Group is seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer with expertise in paper and carton packaging. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement innovative packaging solutions that meet product requirements and enhance customer experience. Responsibilities
- Design and Development: Create and develop packaging solutions using paper and carton materials that meet product specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Testing and Analysis: Conduct tests to ensure packaging durability, functionality, and compliance with environmental standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product development, manufacturing, and marketing teams to understand packaging needs and integrate solutions.
- Material Selection: Analyze and select appropriate materials for packaging based on cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
- Prototyping: Develop prototypes and conduct performance tests to assess packaging designs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of packaging design processes and improvements.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest packaging trends and technologies, incorporating them into designs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging design, specifically with paper and carton materials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and packaging design tools. Knowledge of materials science, including paper and carton properties.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess packaging performance and identify improvements.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure packaging meets all specifications and standards.
- Sustainability: Understanding of environmental regulations and sustainable packaging practices
