Summary

This Senior IQC Supervisor position is responsible for leading, monitoring and instructing Incoming Quality Control(IQC) Inspectors with inspections, eg. Visual mechanical check, dimentional check, testing and/or reliability testing, of incoming materials in IQC area/room contributing to the development and manufacturability of specific product(s) in accordance with the company’s Quality System and customer requirements.

He/she shall work within the team along with the OSM Group as a whole, in an office and field environment to steer project direction, coordination, completion, and other desired output. He/she should have a complete understanding of the incoming quality control requirements and/or standards required internally and/or by the customer.

Responsibilities

• As a Senior IQC Supervisor In-charged.

  · Supervises/manage the IQC team

  · Establishment and maintenance of procedures with regards to incoming quality control

  · Presiding quality meetings related to IQC, if necessary

  · In charge of the evaluation (GRNR) and training of whole team.

  · Supports the investigation of the NCs, follows root cause analysis and improvement actions.

  · IQC daily report review, updates and its approval. It includes safekeeping of records of the incoming quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.

  · Supervises and oversees product development procedures to ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards.

  · Develops, implements, and manages processes to ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, and reliability prior to delivery.

  · Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.

  · Communicates quality standards and parameters to team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.

  · Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output.

  · Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.

  · Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.

  · Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.

  · Gaining feedback from the clients, attending meetings, submitting reports and assisting external auditors and inspectors.

  · Do the Pre-audit before customer visit and audit.

  · Assist the process improvement.

  · Facilitates the MRB meeting of the RM and finished good that may be related to RM.

• As Internal Auditor (IA), but not necessary.

  · Create audit note and provide reports that reflect audit findings and process doc’n.

  · Obtain, examine, and assess quality documentation

  · Provide impartial guidance to assure accuracy, legitimacy, and goal accomplishment

  · Find gaps, then communicate those gaps for corrective action

  · Maintain a constant dialogue with management and the audit committee

  · Document the process and write a memo outlining the audit findings and its analysis

  · Perform follow-up audits

   

• Ensures that the organization adheres to industry standards, legal compliance, and customer expectations.
• Identify and assess potential risks and develop plans to minimize or eliminate them, eg. Creates corrective/preventive actions
• Implement and manage a continuous improvement program to enhance quality systems, processes, and practices, ensuring they remain effective and efficient.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of working experience as Incoming Quality Control Supervisor.

  Fluent communication in reading and writing in English

•  

  Experience of dealing with customers and suppliers as per requirements.

•  

  A detailed understanding of the international standards and the industry standards.

•  

  Management System Auditing experience and managing audit programs

•  

  Significant experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
