Job Highlights

This is Group HR role will work very closely with C- level, Directors and function leaders, Group HR based in Hong Kong will roll out and support Group-level and global HR initiatives and programs across different manufacturing sites and offices. The role must be able to independently define, propose and execute HR projects, polices and resolve HR matters independently, also support and develop the capability and competence of the HR organization at OSM manufacturing sites. He/She is expected to play a central role in supporting our workforce, enabling efficient and effective delivery of HR services and performance management across our organization and changing OSM into a modern Multinational Corporation (MNC).

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HR & Admin functions in Hong Kong to ensure the provision of professional HR & Admin service to the head office in HK.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to the across company HR teams on the HR related matters.
  • Lead and execute global and local HR initiatives & projects such as employer branding, HR policy & process alignment, review of C&B structures and schemes and employee development and engagement, etc. to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage companywide HR Projects/Exercises such as performance management and salary review.
  • Support talent acquisition in global locations, mainly U.S., Sweden, HK and China.
  • Formulate, strengthen and standardize the company’s HR policies, processes and activities across global offices, ensuring that they are complying with the local laws & regulations, aligning with the organization’s goals & objectives as well as reflecting the best practices of the industry.
  • Utilize analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive and facilitate the decision-making process for key stakeholders.
  • Compile HR-related reports and statistics at group level for management review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the senior management, the functional leaders, and the employees, and act as a trusted advisor and partner on all HR matters.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years’ solid experience in all-rounded HR functions, preferably gained from MNCs and/or electronics or engineered soft goods or Manufacturing industry.
  • University degree holder or above, preferably from Business Administration, HR, psychology, or related disciplines
  • Hands-on experience in handling regional HR-related matters; familiar with HR labor laws in China. Experience from U.S, Europe and/or Philippines will be an advantage.
  • Good communication with excellent spoken & written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
  • Proficient in MS Applications and experienced in using HRIS.
