Job Summary:

The Equipment Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. This role requires hands-on technical skills, a proactive approach to equipment reliability, and collaboration with engineering and production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Support equipment installation, setup, and calibration activities.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Assist in developing and updating maintenance procedures and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and operators to improve equipment reliability.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in equipment maintenance or technician role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, and automation systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and maintenance best practices.
