OSM is embarking on the next chapter of our transformation journey. With our expanding size and ambitious growth plan, it is now time for us to dedicate more focus to longer-term strategy and transformation work. As OSM Group embarks on the next chapter of our transformation, we have recognized the importance of a key role to support the development of our strategic framework. “The addition of this key role will bring a new skill set, capability, and focus that we currently lack. Yi Hoo’s diverse experience and background also allow us to look beyond our comfort zone to benchmark and identify what excellence truly entails,” says Patrik Ågren, CEO of OSM Group.

Yi Hoo brings a wealth of expertise as a seasoned executive with a combination of experiences in large multinational corporations and startups. He has experience in crafting strategy as well as running global operations. His recent roles include Head of People at the startup company GitStart, Chief Innovation Officer at Human at Work, and Senior Vice President of Innovation and Experimentation at Fung Group & Li & Fung.

“I find it exciting to work with companies and drive their growth through transformation and innovation. I joined OSM because I have always been intrigued by the manufacturing sector, and I am thrilled about the type of company OSM is aspiring to become. Given our size, scale, and the opportunity to collaborate with my colleagues, the upcoming years present a tremendous challenge that I eagerly embrace,” says Yi Hoo Ong.

The primary focus of this position is to guide us in becoming a world-class multi-category ODM, offering best-in-class manufacturing, leading-edge design, and product development. To achieve this, we must fundamentally change how we plan, operate, and engage. This role will play a pivotal part in aligning our efforts and ensuring that we collectively focus on achieving our goals.
