Integration Starts with Our Global R&D Network

We have R&D resources in Sweden and China, supported by manufacturing facilities in China and the Philippines. In China, our Electronic Engineering R&D and Engineered Soft Goods R&D teams work under one roof, allowing both disciplines to collaborate directly throughout product development. This enables us to design, develop, and manufacture products that combine engineered soft goods with electronics, including smart wearables, AI-assisted device accessories, hearing protection, portable audio products, diagnostic pads, tracking devices, and other hybrid solutions.

Manufacturing Quality Begins Before Production

Most manufacturers measure quality by inspecting finished products. While inspection remains essential, it cannot eliminate design decisions that make products difficult to manufacture consistently.

At OSM Group, quality begins during product development through Design for Manufacturing (DfM). Product designers, material specialists, and R&D engineers work within the same department, allowing manufacturing considerations to become part of the design process instead of a separate review after engineering is complete.

This close collaboration allows potential assembly issues, unsuitable material combinations, and production risks to be identified before tooling is released. As a result, customers reduce engineering changes, production rework, manufacturing cost, and schedule delays while creating a smoother transition into mass production.

Manufacturing Flexibility Beyond One Location
