Job Description

Successful implementation of semi-automation and automation projects, successfully in the factory and achieve KPI targets and intended project savings and ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with cross-function teams of NPI programs to create solutions for customized and automation machines
• Study the mass production lines and create solutions for process automation
• Continue to optimize customized and automation machines to meet and exceed the required machine
• Improve existing fixtures and introduce smart fixture design during the process development stages (NPI)

Job Requirements

• Degree in electro-mechanical design and automation (robotics)
• Minimum 1-2 years work experience in electro-mechanical design and automation (related OJT experience for newly graduate candidate)
• Work Experience in handling automation project from concept to final validation and implementation.
• Can use Autodesk for 2D drawing
• Can use Solidworks for 3D drawing (UG or ProE is acceptable)
• Familiar with standard parts (motor, cylinder, guide rails, etc.)
• Knows fabrication workshop machines (CNC, lathe, saw, drill, etc.)
• Know how to do DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
• Knowledge in PLC programming or other type of program for automation and robotic arm control
• Knowledge of modern manufacturing methodologies (Manufacturing 4.0) is an advantage.
• Can speak (optional) and write English
• Proficient in MS Office software
