Job Description

Reporting to Head of Acoustic based in Huizhou, the job holder needs to take responsibility for acoustic design & tuning. He/She needs to attend weekly meetings with internal project teams, and also some meetings with customers by speaking English.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for acoustic component selection and drive the suppliers to achieve the product acoustic requirements
• Work closely with various parties such as hardware / mechanical / software team and DSP team / product architecture for acoustic design, measurement and DSP tunning such as ANC / ENC / EQ for both music play & phone call
• Provide professional reports, technical specifications and drawings
• Prepare documentations and support for product manufacturing
• Take part in weekly project status meetings
• Based in Huizhou and report to Head of Acoustic

Job Requirements

• Higher diploma or above in Acoustic Engineering, Physics, Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in acoustic product development
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Acoustic Engineer
• Hands-on using DSP tools such as Audio Weaver, Signma DSP, Simulation tool such as Comsol, LSPCad, Microcap
• Able to read and write in English, good command of spoken English will have an advantage
• Knowledge in any of the following disciplines:
  • QCC / Airoha / BES or any BT SoC system architecture and the associated acoustic interfaces
  • Driver / Microphone knowledge
  • Ear couples such as IEC711,IEC318, GRAS 43AG, GRAS45CA
  • R&D / Production test system such as CRY6151 series, APX525
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving skills, quick learner and good team player
